World's first floating turntable up to 443,000 on Kickstarter

The world's first floating turntable has completed and exceeded its goal on Kickstarter.

This project originally set a $300,000 target and, as of the time of writing, is now at $443,480. They're promising to deliver the patented MAG-LEV (turntable) by August 2017.

“We were searching for a way to give people a better, newer way to experience vinyl records,” reads the concept design. “By pushing the frontier of audio technology, we were able to integrate the uplifting experience of music into the turntable design itself, bringing the feeling of zero gravity into your living room.”

The First Levitating Turntable promises to "visually enhances the experience of listening to vinyl records by levitating the platter. By joining our love for music with careful integration of technology and high-range audio components, we’ve created a turntable of the future for the medium of the past."
