Today, indie band The Good Suns went viral with the video for their track ‘Pop Wound’. The thing is, nobody was watching it for the song, but the person in the video.
Any guesses?
Well, it’s ex politician Lembit Opik. While those of you who know that name cringe, let me explain for the others. Lembit used to be a British MP, and is famous for three things: a desire to be on television as often as possible, getting voted out at the very moment his party achieved a level of power, and shagging a Cheeky Girl. And now he’s desperate enough to mine along and dance to an indie band in a video recorded in half a day at the top of a London building.
Well, we say dance, he looks like a teacher at a disco. As we followed this spread across Twitter we noticed many people thought he’d written the song, so The Good Suns aren’t exactly OK Go yet.
