Wretch 32 thanks Ian Brown

Fools Gold within

Rapper Wretch 32 is in a battle for the number 1 single spot this weekend, but there’s some added indie interest: he samples The Stone Roses’ Fools Gold, one of the classic indie / dance crossover records. Wretch has now publically thanked Ian Brown for approving the sample, and explained to the Daily Star: "Ian Brown giving it the thumbs-up was amazing I loved 'Fools Gold' so much when I was growing up. It has a real sunny vibe." No better time to crack the original out (below).
