Yeasayer have released a short statement saying they have to postpone their European tour, originally scheduled for this month (September). The band have emailed music websites to say-

"Due to family reasons we have to postpone our September 2012 European tour.  Everyone is fine, and we are regrouping and trying to reschedule for the end of Nov/ beginning of Dec.  We promise to make our way across the Atlantic in support of Fragrant World.  We appreciate your understanding and we promise to make this up to you!"

The tour, in support of third album Fragrant World, was due to start in Amsterdam on September 17th, arriving on UK shores by the 27th. It is understood that all dates will be recheduled for a later time.
