It’s finally happened, and it’s taken four years of painstaking work, but the entire set of Beatles’ albums have been digitally remastered. I remember a discussion with a Beatles fan twelve years ago, where he said he wasn’t buying the CDs as they were bound to be remastered soon and he wasn’t buying them again after. I agreed and held off too. We were both very wrong. But no longer. All 13 of the Beatles studio albums will be rereleased, as well as the Past Masters compilations, individually or as a box set on September 9th (cunningly tying in with the Beatles themed Rock Band game). Traditionalists should also be happy, as there’s a special mono only box set, but go on, go stereo.
