Chilli Peppers Back After Break

Fear not Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ fans, after a two year break the band have agreed to reconvene and make some new music. (Although if you share the view of a British DJ called Colin Murray, that they’ve totally lost their cutting edge, you should probably remain unhappy). Drummer Chad Smith told Billboard that the guys are teaming up in October: "That's the plan…It'll be two years in September, so now we're ready. You can't force people to play when they don't want to play or aren't ready to play or whatever – not in our band, anyway." He also gave an insight into the Peppers’ creative process, and he didn’t sound like he’s expecting anyone to turn up with a load of songs already written, as they "do a lot of improvising and jamming and songs will come out of that. That's what we usually do. I don't know why it would be different". Album in 2010 then? Probably.
