Kasabian Attack ‘Deluded’ US Radio Bosses

So, you’re a popular band in the UK, and you want to persuade radio bosses in the US to play your material. What’s the best way of doing this? Perhaps writing some songs they can’t ignore, or signing up with a company that knows how to plug you. Or, you could show your frustration and call them all deluded. Yes, we know what you’re thinking, that last option might not be a good idea, but it’s the route Kasabian have taken. They told XFM "You have to be U2 or Coldplay to get radio play...Americans are deluded - not all of them - they think they're ahead, but musically they're not. They're 30 years behind." And, to be fair, it is hugely difficult to crack mainstream US radio, but diplomacy lads, diplomacy.
