Lad Pays $20,000 for Drummer Trip

Not any old drummer. Not any old trip. When ex-Nine Inch Nails / current A Perfect Circle drummer Josh Freese set about selling his new solo album, he created a series of special events packages you could purchase. $7 got you a CD, $50 got you a thank you phone call, and for $75,000 he’ll join your band for a month (plus more). No one’s taken the latter yet, but Thomas Mrzyglocki has paid the princely sum of $20,000 for the second most expensive one off package, which included mini golf with Maynard James Keenan, a personal tour of Freese’s area and three items picked from his closet. And before you say it, he got the $20,000 from an inheritance he’d rather not have had.
