Reading and Leeds Headliners – Including Radiohead

The headline bands for this year’s Reading and Leeds festival have been announced (if you’ve never heard of the festival, it’s basically the same bands playing at both locations at different times over the same days). It turns out that some of the rumours are true, and the Arctic Monkeys and Kings of Leon will be playing. What has blindsided some people is the third headliner: Radiohead! They’ll be playing the festival for the first time in fifteen years; it’s on Britain’s August Bank Holiday weekend, 28th – 30th. Speaking to NME, Radiohead said they were slightly fazed by the size of the event the first time they played, but there will be no such fears this time.
