Someone was Depressed over Blue’s Split

When insipid pop act Blue split in 2005 many of us breathed a sigh of relief that we’d never have to hear their music again. Others took it hard, apparently no one more so than band member Duncan James, who suffered depression, panic attacks and acute anxiety as he came to terms with the end of his work. He told Heat "I was burnt out and emotionally drained. You come out of a big pop group after five years in a bubble and... I suffered from really bad anxiety and panic attacks…I barely left the house and I would freak out about the littlest thing. I was like a proper recluse and taking tablets to cope.
