Single Review: Ed Sheeran - Small Bump

A slice of acoustic melancholy from Sheeran on his latest offering

Typically chart friendly singer songwriter pop from Sheeran, this time with a surprisingly melancholic twist. Small Bump begins as an insipid ballad to an unborn child, but finishes with the childs death, and is more complex than yer average 3 minute daytime radio has a right to be. Whilst it's hardly going to win any awards for musical innovation, this is still a solid, if sad piece of song writing from an artist who looks like he's here to stay.
